We've been doing hikes for a while now, but haven't been advertising. Sunday, 10 January at Amelia WMA (West of Richmond). The hike will be 6 miles and will qualify for status. There will also be some discussion, syncing of radios, administrative stuff, medical training, etc. There is a shooting range here you can also use to check your zero, etc.
Meeting at the Boat Ramp 1:30 PM. This will be a gear+ hike. Rules and regs here: https://dwr.virginia.gov/wp-content/uploads/map-amelia-wma.pdf https://dwr.virginia.gov/access-permit/ If you can't make this one, we will be doing another on Saturday, 16 January. Location TBD. |

I wanted to make it, I intended to make it.
I failed. By the time I took care of business it was too late to make the 2 1/2 drive. I really wish the HR bunch would pop back up.
