Howdy neighbors!

I’m coming to pirates cove in a few weeks and was looking to see if you all could recommend a water toy rental spot. Seadoo, jet ski or small speed boat etc.

Multi day rental would be best, so trying to avoid the Laughlin tourists traps.



Second- do they still do the tube float/Laughlin regatta? I haven’t been able to turn up anything on the web- I assume it’s cancelled due to the mayhem?

No idea, but any chance you could post a follow up review of pirates cove?  My wife really wanted to go this summer, but a lot of the negative reviews  online sketched me out big time.

I’ve been there before. It’s sandy lots right next to the river. We have our own private cove at the spot we reserve.


What’s got you concerned? I’d imagine it can get rowdy depending on what river events are going on, but seemed fine to me. Although maybe we were the rowdy ones.

You won't be able to go North of Pirates very far in a boat, the water is to shallow. Might be worse this year with the drought. Jet skis could make it. If you go South to Lake Havasu, you can go through the gorge which is pretty cool. Plus you occasionally get to see cool shit like this.

And I believe the regatta is gone. To many lazy ass people left their trash all over the place and in the river. The local governments got sick of having to clean it up and it went away. The Parker Float is still a thing, but it was earlier this month.
