I live in Southeast Missouri, about 120 miles south of St. Louis and myself and my two sons are taking the day off Friday and heading up to Iowa. We’re gonna be there Friday and Saturday night. We are super excited for this event and can’t wait to get going!

Our new overlords are celebrating their taming of the ARF.  If they wanted to have a party they should have come to TEXAS

will they be releasing the Sylvan?

I’m planning on going.   For those who have never been there the parking lot isn’t very big.  This could be a huge mess.

Huge crowd.  Lines for everything.  Actually buying something would probably take an hour. Parking reasonably well organized.

Did you see any deals on used guns?

They had a bunch of used tavors, I was going to buy one for sure at 25% off, but I had to work.

Had a great time,  glad I went. Didn't see anyone I recognized. Stood in line 45 minutes to buy a tshirt

I almost jumped on that Tavor...but those lines were killer.

Picked up a Glock 42 w/Trijicon sights for $250. Was one of the first few through the FFL line so the wait wasn't bad.

It was really cool but it was absolutely packed at least in the morning. I don't think they knew the kind of turnout they were gonna get, definitely would have benefited from a second tent and spreading the crowd out more. I've been there for the retail store grand opening event and the black friday events, and this setup would have handled those crowds fine. But this crowd was at least twice that big. Probably 3-4 times based on the cars lined up all the way out to Casey's while I was standing in line down by the pond.

I saw a couple of preowned guns that I thought about but I stuck to my plan of only buying one if it was something I was already looking for pretty well.

I look forward to hearing from others that attended on Saturday.

dogonemad walked right through our line. I noticed the large punisher BFL but didn't think anything of it until he walked by and I saw the "87" on his back.

Had to swim through the crowd in the vendor tent. They all had discounts on their products. Got me for one of those mini saiga 12s.

I heard the ffl line was 2 hours long by 10am.

I could believe that.

It was a cluster.  Tried to get into the vendor tent but didn’t want to wait the 30-45 minutes just to get in the tent.

Inside the store smelled like swamp ass from all the old dudes waddling around.

So, on non AR guns, a brace can be considered in the OAL?

Are these AOW's?
