Do you like wheat, wind and earthquakes? How about sand for top soil and don't forget about the wind.
I'm from the area but the family sold the farm and moved away in the 70's. Went back frequently until the grandparents passed ten years ago, little change for 30 years until the oil boom and bust. Nothing wrong with the area if you like small towns but you are a long drive from a Walmart, Home Depot etc. |

I'm from there but moved away years ago. My family still lives down there.
It's a very small lake/ large pond. There's a 9 hole golf course on the Southwest side. In town there is a liquor store, two small grocery stores, two bars, McDonald's, and a Dollar general. Wichita is a touch over 45 minutes away. |

Let me know when you want someone to check out the house for you! Good hunting down that direction. Check out the Great Salt plains in Oklahoma for a day trip for you or the Alabaster caverns in Oklahoma. Come to Wichita for some decent brewed beer (WBC) and a IMAX theater.
