If I had to guess, I would say that all of this is in response to keeping Loren McLean at bay. The state sees that an actual progressive liberal has been elected mayor, and they're freaking out.
More power to them, by the way. |

I knew nothing about Boise politics until I saw an article about the fire chief, a 30-year veteran, being fired by the new mayor because the chief supported her opponent. It looks really bad on the city.

Anyone reached out to any reps or anything to show support? I'm relatively new to the valley, Meridian specifically(been here 14 months), and would like nothing more than to make sure the state stays as red as possible.

Otter did this with a lot of stuff. Constitutional carry (the original incarnation in 2016) was one of them. "I have reservations about this, so I'm not signing it." It became law anyway. |
