WEST SUBURBAN AUTO DEALERSHIP TO HOST GUN CONTROL FUND RAISER

A west suburban auto dealership will be holding a benefit “car wash” to support gun control legislation that, if passed, promises to empty your gun safe.  Bill Kay Chevrolet, located on Ogden Avenue in Lisle, will be the site of the June 16th car wash.  The event will reportedly kick off at Noon and end around 3:00 PM.

The beneficiary of the Bill Kay event is a cell of extremist gun controllers based in Naperville, IL.  The radical group is known for organizing harassment activities against attendees of the DuPage Gun Show and for inciting near-riot conditions during a raucous anti-constitution, anti-freedom demonstration in Downers Grove last March.  The gun control group has, as its objective, the banning and confiscation of your lawfully-acquired firearms.

As law-abiding gun owners, we shouldn’t be supporting businesses or other organizations that support and sustain attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights.  The Bill Kay Auto Group has chosen to align itself with the gun controllers in their war against your rights as an American citizen.  Bill Kay Auto Group’s overt support for gun control should carry consequences.

The Bill Kay Auto Group operates a number of dealerships throughout the Chicagoland area.  Those dealerships represent a variety of brands – not just Chevrolet.  So, the next time you go shopping for a vehicle, or when booking auto maintenance, remember that Bill Kay is not your friend.  Vote with your feet – shop elsewhere.

There is a residential area behind Bill Kay, perhaps where West lives nearby, and the conjecture is the fundraiser is being held at a private residence with the dealership being published as a landmark instead of a location.

We don`t want Boss Hogg and his gang of brats in Illinois.  I find it interesting that Boss Hogg and his gang are going to the ghetto in Chicago that should be interesting. Is there going to be a counter protest?

Who is this Jax West?   I can`t find any information about her everything I look for goes to Friends Who March?  It was discovered that the March for Your Lives was mostly middle aged women.

As stated above, this is a mistake by ISRA.  The dealership (as far as we can tell) was only referenced by the anti-gunners for directions to their crappy event.  The dealership claims they have nothing to do with the event....Pretty big screw up!

I'm guessing Ms West isn't going to be looking at a large discount on her next vehicle from Bill Kay

URGENT ALERT:  CORRECTION TO EARLIER ALERT

On June 5, 2018, the Chicago Tribune’s Naperville Sun ran a story in which the leader of a west suburban gun control organization reported that she was holding a car wash to benefit gun control behind the Bill Kay Chevrolet auto dealership.  Naturally, the wording of the article would lead readers to believe that Bill Kay was affiliated with the benefit car wash.

Bill Kay Chevrolet has since contacted the ISRA to report that the dealership is not affiliated with the car wash.  Likewise, the Tribune  has, on June 11, re-released their story with clarifying language that accurately identifies the location of the benefit car wash.

Now that the Tribune has corrected its article, the ISRA is advising its members that the Bill Kay Auto group is no way involved in the car wash and that gun owners should feel free to keep Bill Kay in mind when shopping for a new or used vehicle.

I got that original alert from ISRA and posted it here to alert others, just now  I got the correction from  ISRA.  

I went to the Facebook page of Friends who March, they have events listed including the car wash.  Apparently Aurora is having a gay  pride parade  and Friends who March is having people bused in to march in the parade but so far they only have 6 people signed up for the bus, and 4 of them are named Mary.  They have 3 weeks to find more people.  They also want people to dress as a rainbow or a superhero. Only 6 so  far it doesn`t appear they have a lot of support.

Fuck Bill Kay, he is involved.

I don't know but, it appears that the ISRA just got it wrong...The original news story indicated the dealership was only a reference for the location of the whacky lady's address.   ISRA screwed up.

Before our Town Hall with #MarchForOurLives in Naperville at 6pm, the Downers Grove North students will be doing a car wash fundraiser for #RoadToChange. Some of the students from Parkland will be there. We will have the League of Women Voters to register people to vote. There will be a Lemonade stand & we will continue selling the Enough is Enough wristbands.

We will be near 355 & Ogden in Lisle. We are behind Bill Kay Chevrolet on Ogden. you will see our signs & will be able to find us. BILL KAY CHEVROLET HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS EVENT. We apologize to the dealership that the gun fanatics went on the attack from this event saying it was BEHIND the dealership. Horrible people then tried to ruin this dealership by giving them bad reviews on Facebook & Yelp & sending hatemail. It is really said that people who claim to hold 2A so Dear would then try to attack someone & go against 1A.

There are some gun people who intend to cause chaos & attempt to ruin our event. This is at a private residence so they are not allowed on private property. Parking isn’t allowed on either side of the street so they can’t park their vehicles here. There isn’t any public sidewalks for them to stand on. If they try to hang out front that is stalking.

We want the people coming to support the local students in their fundraiser for Parkland to be mindful of the neighborhood. Be respectful. We don’t more than a dozen cars here at one time. Do not block up the street. If we have our dozen cars then take a ride around Lisle & come back in 15 minutes or so. Remember these are teenage organizers so please be patient. Thank you in advance for understanding & your support.

Apology to Bill Kay Chevrolet

Recently the Illinois State Rifle Association released an alert regarding Bill Kay Chevrolet based on a local newspapers article.

The Illinois State Rifle Association did not independently verify our interpretation of the article before sending this alert out.   By not doing so, we were incorrect and deeply regret our inaction which has caused considerable harm to Mr. Kay, his staff and his fine business reputation.

I further apologize to to Mr. Kay and his staff and you our members, and gun owners for this Terrible error .  In closing , we appreciate Mr. Kay and his efforts to clarify this error that we have caused.  I also will meet personally with Mr.Kay and offer my apologies.

This was a horrible screw up.  Mr. Kay called us asking for help to unring the bell.  They were getting ugly mail and people removing his bumper stickers off their vehicles and mailing them back to him.  This hurt their business and they (the dealer) had nothing to do with it.  ISRA needs to do better.
