Looking for someone local to turn some threads on a rem 597 .22. 1/2x28. Don't feel like shipping it out since it'll cost more to ship than the threading itself.

Anybody threading barrels?

Could try Scott Soik at River Valley Specialized Machining in Point.  He specializes in long range guns a lot, but should be able to take care of you without a problem.  He's also running for State Assembly, but he is in the middle of heavy lib area so he'll need some luck. Out of my area so I can't vote for him.
