I also live in the county and have no houses behind my house. I shoot all the time out there. I have been researching building a backstop though. I am still in the thinking stages, but the wife wants new floors in the living room at the same time, so we will see which comes first. |

I think some of us need to plan a shoot soon. Plinking ammo cheap! I've got 2 new ARs to break in. And I need to hang with some more experienced shooters(AR type anyway) for pointers. |

On December 6th there is a competition down in Benton where most of us will be. I live in Conway, but I'm a trucker so I'm only home on weekends. I don't know if I'll be around this weekend. Word is some deer will be trespassing on my land, and it just so happens, my freezer is room, so I may need to collect some meat.

Yeah I've been thinking if building me one too. My first two are Bushy's...complete. Both M4 types. One with carry handle(removable) and one flat top. I was thinking of ordering a complete lower. I live close to Bullseye Guns and Ammo and might work with them. I was gonna order a Bushmaster lower but might now rethink that after reading some other posters on here. LMT perhaps! Besides you wouldn't believe how cheap I can get a complete AR for as an Academy employee. Manufacturer discount not Academy.
But I might build me one just to learn more about the weapon. I may have to slow down on my gun purchases however. I just found a bad heat exchanger in my outside unit and either need to spend $1000.00 for a replacement on a 11 year old system or just get a whole new system...Approx $4000.00. But at least it'll be new with a new longer warranty. Maybe I just need to stock up on ammo now. All types. BTW I have a lady friend here in LR who's brother lives in Conway. She said he wants her to quit work here, move to Conway and be one of his shooting instructors in a indoor range he wants to open up there. No other info at this time. |

Oh yeah, and something else. I've made the acquaintance of rock1 and though he's one really "bad" dude, he's much nicer in person than cowboy and that red-eye winking guy make him out to be. I guess you two guys must just bring out the worst in him. |

Even though I'm not currently living in AR, I did spend 30+ years growing up there and there's no Mississippi section here. I'm like sirpumpkinseed and just getting my zombie killin' kit together. My wife and I bought each other a RRA flat top for our 40th b-days two weeks ago. I haven't shot it yet and I picked up a stripped lower earlier this week. This stuff is addictive!!!!

Forgot to update the locator!! I'm in Kyrgyzstan for about three more months...been here for three. I'm surrounded by AK's!!! These poor bastards would sell me one for dirt cheap but I have no way of getting one home.
