I would like to apply for a non-resident Arizona CWP. I looked at the requirements, it appears that a DD-214 showing an Honorable discharge will meet the requirement. Is that correct?

If so is the DD-214 and a fingerprint card all that is needed?

I requested a CWP application package but I have not received it yet.

Where can I get fingerprinted (voluntarily LOL)?

You will need to send in:

Completed AZ CCW application
Duplicate fingerprint cards (county office or local PD is a good place, expect to pay $5-$10)
$60 Money order or cashier's check payable to AZ DPS
Copy of DD-214

Expect a turnaround time of 2 months, possibly less.

Rizzo gave you the basics.

Only thing to add is there is no such thing as a "non-resident" CWP.   Everyone gets the same one whether they live here or not. DPS does not care where you live.

My local gun shop, where I did the paperwork, did the fingerprinting right there. No separate charge, so I am not sure what the cost of just the prints might be.

Police or state police will fingerprint you. Some gun stores will. Most ups stores will do it, but they're a little more expensive.

I'm pretty shooters world in peoria will.

Thanks Jerry.
