Keep seeing rumors on Facebook. Pawn shop in Bonney Lake was asking if people could come and help stand guard. I lived in the Lake Tapps area but in Bellingham now. My ex wife and son are still down there. Ex wife said there isn’t anything going on in the neighborhoods, that’s she’s heard about.

My neighbor had to close his office down in South Auburn due to threats of looting in the area. Covington and Maple Valley are claimed to be targets as well. I haven't been out, so no idea if there is actually any action.

I have no idea how all of this is being broadcast. Haven't had a chance to ask the neighbor how he found out. I'll update this if /when I find out.

Our HOA in Lakeland heard this rumor today of rioters inbound.  Sent out a note to the community.   There were armed civilians at pistol Annie’s reportedly at o dark thirty on Sunday night.  Am doubting that actual rioters would venture out into the sticks...pretty much every homeowner is armed.

Auburn mayor Nancy Backus has imposed a curfew starting at 9 pm to 6 am running through Sat. morning, June 6th.   Gross misdemeanor if you are caught in a public park or space or you are impeding law enforcement.

The Outlet Collection is blocked by police cruisers every night after 8pm.  Heavy police presence seen in other spots around town as well.

@Shadows   Hey, I live in Lakeland Hills HOA too.  If you or any of the other nearby ARFCOM members want to meet and greet sometime, I would welcome the opportunity.  Perhaps form an informal emergency network of folks who can come to the aid of members.

I'm near Tacoma Point. Never would have guessed others we nearby.

OP so far it's been quite in boney lake. Guys are guarding pistol Annie's. Not sure about Brad's. They're have been many rumors about targeting local businesses but so far they are just rumors.

I live on the Scenic hill of Kent. Seems relatively quiet but what happened in Tukwila is getting too close for comfort.

Fred Meyers in Auburn closes at 8 lately.
They had security starting 2 weeks ago
before this all started.

I live in the Lakeland Hills area as well...  Been pretty quite here and in Auburn...  I don't think Lakeland Hills or Auburn will be targeted for several reasons;

A) It takes effort to get to Auburn and up the hills
B) Train and bus service isn't set up for a quick escape
C) Too many homeowners own guns
D) Too many homeowners would dispense a serious ass stomping

Hopefully, Auburn police are watching the train station and bus routes for groups of losers and start to monitor their movements. Masked thugs and Soy-Boys with backpacks would stick out and easy to track since they travel in packs.

If I'm wrong, I would immediately leave work and link up with other law bidding, armed citizens to protect our neighborhoods, if the cops couldn't handle it...  I have faith in Auburn PD being able to do there job, but there is nothing wrong with "the people" protecting their community from a criminal threat by presenting a "visual" deterrent.

...I'm pretty sure thugs and soy-boys are more afraid of a group of average "Joes" with a rifles, shotguns and pistols than the police.

Forgot about this thread. I lived in Lakeland and am down there every week or two weeks. My ex and son are there in one of the neighborhoods. I had stuff loaded up ready to go. There were some reports of looters going around by Haggen which turned out to be false. Looks like the only thing that happened was someone but a BLM sign on the hill across from the Chevron station.

That's what I heard. I follow them on Facebook and saw the updates. I was surprised that anyone would travel that far to possibly loot the place. Figured Federal Way or Renton would've been hit.

Pretty sure it’s overkill...not sure they really have much that is lootworthy.  Owner mentioned a special circumstance where insurance doesn’t cover losses during a riot.  If true...lots of folks in the hot zones could be finished.
