When I moved here from Cali in ‘82, I lived in Sammamish (before it was) until ‘91, then lived in Issaquah until ‘94. Amazingly beautiful area but incredibly expensive. Used to have a West Coast Armory in DT Issy. Many years prior was Northern Arms. Owner there Gordon was kind of a pompous ass, but it’s where I first met Greg Hamilton when he was just getting Insights off the ground. That was around ‘89/‘90.

Sammamish used to be Pine Lake. I remember Northern Arms...was cool to have a black gun store in Issaquah. Back when Wade’s was on NE 8th. |
