Anyone who paid taxes in 2021 and 2022 is supposed to get a rebate.

Also he signed a homestead exemption rebate that I don’t fully understand…. Anyone with information on how that is going to play out?

I haven't. The state's site has a thing where you put in your info and it says whether you qualify. It says I do, so just waiting to see.

Had not heard about that.  Or I heard about it and forgot about it.  Good news either way.

Got mine last week. Had no idea what it was, so I just set it aside until I could research it a bit.

I can't imagine the property tax relief not being messed with by some money hungry counties run by the worst of the worst, my county among them.

Out of curiosity I just checked my online bank account.  I got my money back on May 4th and didn't know it.

My wife mentioned it last week and made it out like its a "stimulus" for people who actually worked during the plandemic.

They prob have a dedicated webpage to check this, but I just use Georgia Tax Center  https://gtc.dor.ga.gov/_/

It shows the $250 plus you can see your tax submittal.  I paid by check and for some reason there was a screwup on the Georgia Dept of Revenue end still showing that I owed money even though they cashed my check and it had been cleared for over 20 days.  The website is how I knew they showed me still owing money, so I was able to call and get it cleared up before the tax deadline.
