Thank you for the recent information. Much appreciated.
How is security there? Pops is probably bringing a bunch of cash and might also bring a bunch home. He has a history of doing pretty well from what I hear.
I'd imagine these days most gambling involves electronic funds/transfers/deposits? Pardon the ignorance but I don't gamble or go to casinos. We're only going because he is handicapped and in a wheelchair. Wife is driving and I'm security...

I stayed at the hotel on site and didn't leave the property while I was in town. The only real security I encountered were security guards at the entrance to the casino who are not much more than mall cops. There may have been other security outside the property or a secret force I'm unaware of, but there wasn't anything impressive.
As for electronic funds and all that, most people carry cash into the casino and leave with empty pockets. Typically no electronic transfers unless people are pulling money from an ATM. Maybe the super high rollers are different and have an account at the casino, but the average person probably just carries cash or a debit card for withdrawals.
As someone who has gambled a lot all over the country the last 15 years, I wouldn't have any concerns gambling there. You can drop off pops at the front door, get him inside, and you should be fine. The only sketchy areas I saw were some of the poor areas on the reservation but off casino property. And you can carry there.
