I was just wondering about this myself actually.
 It seems like a few of us already sort of formed a group. @guns762 and @Sparks556 at least come to mind.

I am in, hopefully Sunday we should meet up i this weekend! I need to get out and shoot a little I have been just taking the kids out in the hills lately but haven’t pulled a trigger with friends in awhile.

I haven't had a Sunday off in a year and a half.
 That said, I do have a bit of flex with some advanced notice.Where is everybody at? I'm in Cheyenne. Getting an idea geographically where we all are will give us an idea of where a good meetup might happen. What sorts of stuff are you guys interested in doing? Just the hikes? Hikes and shooting? Other BB type activities? Additionally, the Northern Colorado group has a few guys willing to teach things like first aid/commo, and might be a good bunch to link up with to do some shared exercises. Fair warning. I'm an old fart and am unlikely to be able to just don a pack tomorrow and knock out a 6 mile in 2 hours, even on a road march. Gonna need some buildup.  I'm fairly certain I can qualify for any of the shooting stuff, and I have pretty much all the kit I'd need, but my physical condition (while decent for my age) isn't in active combat arms territory. |
