Here for 5 days. This is our second time. Will be an annual trip for my family moving forward.  Gonna start staying for an entire week next year.

I have been pretty successful catching whiting from the beach in the evenings.  Usually 3 to 4 fish. Any tips to target other bigger species? I live in Pennsylvania and most of my fishing has been off the NJ coast on charter boats. Never really fished from shore. Any good charter boats to check out?

Head on down to Buxton and you will get introduced to some professional drum fishermen.  The tackle shops will inform you on what is biting ( Red Drum Tackle).
