I don't know if it's panic with VA going full commie and everything else on top of it but I've started looking at land with intention of a commute to Oak Ridge (or working remote).

I've seen a handful of nice spaces on the realtor sites and landwatch.  I'm wondering if land prices are just as inflated as home prices, what's good, what to look out for, who to trust, etc.

If anyone here in that area is a realtor or can make a solid recommendation I'd love to hear about it.  If anything, to just talk over the wants and figure out how stupid/nuts I am.

In other news I've got a hold of a land realty group (National Land Realty) and had a talk with one guy who is handing me off to another that's more of a buyer's agent and we'll start digging/watching.

No you aren't missing a joke. I have a friend wanting to move from VA to Oak Ridge with a kinda rare last name. Just thought he might run out to be on arf.
