Update:   Still can’t get an answer from my employee. Cell phone goes straight to voicemail.  Called Lee County jail and was told they aren’t there.  Have someone going to the house here in Houston but they haven’t been living there for a while.  They’ve been living in/around Giddings.  Did get a number for the daughter but she hasn’t heard from them either.  Said she’ll call around to see if she can find out anything.

Trying to find out if one of my employees is in jail.  Tried doing an online search but got nothing. Since they would have been picked up over the weekend it may not show up yet. Was hoping a Lee County LEO might fill me in on the system there and how to confirm.

I would check surrounding county jails contiguous to Lee County, also to include most all CenTex counties east and west of the IH-35 corridor.

I’m not sure if it will show up as quickly or at all with just an arrest but you might try running a BG check via the DPS website. That will show anything in Texas

Try TDCJ, but they would almost certainly not be in a TDCJ facility until they've been sentenced: https://offender.tdcj.texas.gov/OffenderSearch/start.action

Or try these:

https://pubweb.brazoriacountytx.gov/PublicAccess/JailingSearch.aspx?ID=400

https://www.fortbendcountytx.gov/government/departments/administration-of-justice/sheriff-s-office/bureaus-divisions/detention-division/jail-public-information-inquiry

Also, Lee County (where Giddings is):

If you don't get any hits and are comfortable sharing information with a stranger, PM me and I'll see if I can find anything in a few other databases.

Found them.  Nowhere near Lee County.  Don’t think this is related to what they originally told me.
