APC Intro to Mountaineering

Illinois Battle Buddies are trying to throw a plan together to make this happen.  There's a spot in the Harrisburg, IL area that would work very well for this event.  Good camping, too.  We have five or six guys & gals interested at this point, probably a few more.  I figure that area would be centrally located enough that hopefully some guys from surrounding states could attend.
No special equipment would be required.  APC would provide ropes and associated gear.  You'd just need to not have a crippling fear of heights.

If this happens would the group be camping Friday and/or Saturday night?
Going to try to convince my wife to come. I'd give it maybe a 25% chance of success.

There’s a high probability of camping.  The area I have in mind allows camping without any permits or loicenses.

Never heard of APC before this thread. They sound awesome!

Their website has minimal 'about us' info - any place to learn more without the secret decoder ring?
