I think all of our regulars are smart enough to realize this, but I'll remind everyone anyways...
This conference is not restricted from web crawlers, anything posted here is readily searchable online. There has already been a move to shift political discussions to paid memberships out of General Discussion because, quite frankly, some members were posting things that could get this site shut down and get them visited by law enforcement. There are entities actively looking to suppress any pro-freedom, pro-guns activists, be careful who you are talking with. We know this site has various levels of law enforcement watching it, including with paid memberships, so just because someone is a member here does not automatically make them trustworthy. Remember AROCK, may all fucks be upon him as he roasts in Hell, he wasn't the first and won't be the last scumbag on this site (and for those who didn't see the news, he committed a murder-suicide early last month, killing a woman who was apparently quite amazing but who made the mistake of letting him rent a room from her, not knowing what a reprehensible individual he was). That goes for ANY social media, btw, even that established by trustworthy members, because unless you host the entire thing on your own hardware, with encrypted clients, and a way to restrict a compromised client from accessing the entire site, it's vulnerable to penetration by hostile agents. There's a reason I don't trust network connected locks in my home, and physically disconnect my webcam and any microphones when not on a conference call.
