Some blackhawks and an Osprey just flew over. Presume heading from Briscoe back to Dobbins.

We had a group of three Ospreys fly over real low about two months ago.

Osprey's are some loud machines, I used to work near Dobbins and you always knew when they were coming/leaving.

You would be surprised at how much stuff flies in and out of Fort Gordon daily .

Don't know where they are from or where they go .  Usually in groups of 3.

Wish they would operate at higher altitude .

I love the sound of low flying aircraft.  Around here its mostly crop dusters.  I grew up on Fort Benning so I'm acclimatized to it I guess.

When I fly and feel like some low level stuff to get an adrenaline rush, I do make sure to head out to the sticks.

On another note, I probably just flew my airplane of 20 years for the last time yesterday.  I've signed the papers and she's headed to her new home in Texas next week.  Her name is Doris.  Daddy's gonna miss her.
