SO most of us know that Old Man Dan is kind of the go to guy for reloading and such and hes been a big help to me for loading various ammo loads. I have some TAC powder I got for 223 but Im suddenly hankering for a solid deer round with TAC. I have some IMR4320 for my my M1 Garand loads cause IMR4895 wasnt around. I have some Reloader 7 too but ive read that its a bit fast for 308.

So, anyone have any good starting points for TAC? Its gonna be pushing a 165gn bullet down a 1:10 bolt gun.

Never tried Tac I use Varget or IMR4064 for .308win.
Nosler manual shows 42.0grs for the starting point and 46.0grs for the max. with a Fed 210M primmer and a 150gr bullet.
The Hornady manual showed 33.6grs for the start and 42grs for the max with a 180gr bullet and Fed 210 primmer.

Maybe this will give a starting point.

Just go old school, according to Stumpy, "you just scoop er up and level off the top and stuff the bullet in there."
Guaranteed to go bang.
