I live in the upstate Rock Hill area south of Charlotte and haven't really found any ranges with 200yds+.

I've been going to Leeds range in the National Forest.  Its about an hour for me and is nice but it only goes to 100 yards (and is often really, really busy).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!  I will be checking that place out.  It looks very nice.

The 300 yard range will work for me but I thought was pretty cool that they also have a 1000 range and even the option to shoot up to a mile there!

Need to be a member for those. They are holding more long range precision matches there that are open to anyone.

I'm in Rock Hill also. Foothills Shooting Complex is in Cleveland County NC between Shelby and Cherryville. It's an hour drive from my house. They go out to 250 yds. My son and I shot a Steel Challenge match there once but haven't been on the rifle range. It's a nice facility and worth checking out.
We shoot primarily at Leeds. A tip to beat the crowds; they open the gate at sunrise. We try to get there 15-30 mins after sunrise and are always able to get a table. By the time we are leaving (9:30-10:30a) there are usually folks waiting for a table.

Thanks!!!

ETA: So I was checking out their website and it's a great story. It's a pretty new range (something you don't see much of these days). They utilized the landfill area for this. What a great idea. Old landfills should be used for this more often. They're not good for much else, they already have great backstops, few people (especially few Karens) live near them and you can't even argue about the "environmental" concerns of pumping lead into hills full of trash!

Sounds like they have some forward thinking folks in their government up there.  Who'd-a-thunk it!
