Will give TT and TK a yell after I've got stuff dropped off at the Aliant Energy Center.

Lunch looks to be around 1PM, at this point.

That was posted long after I was done playing on the internet, and I didn't see it until about 6:30 this morning.

I appreciate the offer .... just didn't see it in time.

Thanks anyway, man.

Looks like most of you had fun.  (None seems to be frowning.)  Wish I could've made it.

BulletcatchR,

Thank YOU for hosting these events.  It's always easier--and lots more fun--to train and practice with motivated folks.

Looking forward to the next one, or the next class.

I had a great time had to run more than I should have.  Wish we had a picture of the Team Marlboro one the one handed drill

BC you should get a thread going on the ammo test that was performed maybe some people here would find it useful.

Thanks to all for the fun and safe time, big thanks to BC and driftless for hosting.

Glad you got to make it out, Rouge1!

Happy to see Harv made it home in the Ford, too.

Notes on the HST and Ranger SXT performance:

All rounds (with the exception of the leftmost .45) went through 4 layers of denim, and penetrated to at least the 4th jug of water.

L-R, IIRC:
.45 230Gr. HST +P exited the side of the 3rd jug (shooter error ). Incomplete expansion (~75%), full weight retention.
.45 230Gr. HST +P exited 4th jug and came to rest between jug 4 and 5.  Incomplete expansion (~90%), full weight retention.
9mm 124Gr. HST found in jug 4. Complete expansion and weight retention.
.40 180Gr. Ranger SXT found outside jug 4 (side exit). Complete expansion and weight retention.

This would have been much more fun if we had gel to work with, but the bottom line is that all bullets performed the way they should have (given the unscientific method), didn't get clogged with denim, and all expanded and penetrated to acceptable levels.

Just pushed the Ford in the Driveway about 20 mins ago....Phew..... that was a long push from Sauk City........

Actually she ran Fine... Thanks again FMD

Thanks BC for another great Shoot.... it was the best one yet... alot of great drills and of course the same great bunch of Shooters... it was great to finally meet you to Rogue....

My official round count was 12 mags totaling 336 rds of 5.56MM and Approx 250 rds of .45ACP and 28 staples (before it went down )

Thanks again to Glenn for the awesome drills he introduced, they were a lot of fun and I can't wait to try them again in the future... for those of you who did not make it..... You missed a great time......
