STAY PUT! Defend your home as long as possible.....THEN "Bug Out" as a last resort!. I think most people would be lucky to make a 100 miles if they left right away.

No one will survive alone (or in a tiny group).

By that reasoning, you should get 4-5 trucks and a Bradley Fighting vehicle. Don't forget 12-15 armed and trained people to be security. In fact, why stop there? You should make sure you have several belt-fed weapons and perhaps a helicopter for air support too.

+1. This is good advice to live by whether or not the SHFT or you are bugging out or not.
