I just got my parler going and it looks to be a mess with fake accounts and a bunch of reposting. Hopefully it takes off and gets more of a user base and more consistency. I’d be interested in a happy hour or dinner if we can get north/ northeast Tarrant county folks together. |

I had been thinking about starting a discord server for this purpose, so I set one up after finding this thread message me here for an invite to the server - it could be handy to have if something goes sideways. I'll get better functionality in it over the next couple days, including self-applicable roles and regional discussion servers. going to open this up to anyone that would like to join - pm me here and i'll reply with a link, so it's not just out in the open. ETA: my mailbox was full. i just cleaned it out, might not be able to receive PMs until tomorrow  |

I'll reiterate my interest. I'm two hours east of Dallas but interested. I'll also mention that iMessage and FaceTime/FaceTime audio are end to end encrypted and nothing passes through a central server. you can also create an anonymous email address and use that with FaceTime and iMessage (if you want to conceal your identity). maybe a group/offsite chat? the more and more this goes on and escalates the more I find it important to network with like minded people that have actual skills and kit. |
