due to unexpected problems and stresses at work I feel thet I need to reserve a space in the mental therapy section at the Farm. Is there any better place to exorcise the demons and freaks that contaminate the day to day  life of the average working stiff?

What kind of activities are planned for the inmates of this asylum? Guns and Grub? Sharing your feeling in a group talk around a campfire? Liquid tranquilizers? Anyone there for a group hug???

I will be there... fullclip

Did you say 8 hours from Houston?  The farm must be somewhere up past New Caney! That's way too far for me to drive.

8 hrs, hah, tell that to Wiggy, in AZ

Or Shaun, who comes that far.

DOn't be a wussy, be there, or don't, your choice.

But it is worth the drive.

Is any-damned-body going on Memorial Day weekend, or is it just gonna be me, red dirt, tumbleweeds, and some of your state legislators I'm returning?

Bah.  I went to the April Hun shoot, I had to drive from Austin, to Houston the night before, to Galveston the morning after, and then from Galveston up to the Hun farm.  I put something like 1300 miles on my car for that trip, got there late on Thursday night, and would do it again in a heartbeat.  Don't let the 8 hour drive prevent you from going.  It is WELL worth it.

That being said, I'll be out of the state for the Memorial day shoot.  I'm sorry that I'll miss all y'all, but someone drink a Blue Water for me

I plan on being there! I'm going to do this in place of a bachelor party.

Everyone's invited to the wedding, see my dedicated post in the hometown forum.

I'm don't have much fun money, but I've been scrimping for what little I can get. I've counted my nickels, dimes, and quarters (and a few of those fake-gold dollars) and I think that I can afford 300 rounds of M193 and 200 rounds of UMC 40S&W, and 20 rounds of 30-06. Is it still worth making the trip if that's all I've got?

If it is, I need directions for North Richland Hills.

Johnphin, going to the farm isn't so much about shooting as it is about hanging out with good friends. Every time I go to the farm I don't shoot more than 100 rounds total for 3 or more guns.

and john, there will be plenty to shoot,  heck, half the time i'm shooting my .22

also

ILL, no, the wife is not coming, i had to push her to let me go.

I am gonna order some glow sticks for the farm.

Anyone intersted?

Price is about $35 for 50 sitcks.

If you want any, let me know by tomorrow.

But it won't throw them 50 feet into the air, thus sometimes making large glowing clouds...
