Waldwick, Bergen here. Although I go to school in Newark
iaim2pleasebabe, where do you shoot in Newark? I'm attempting to start a marksmanship club at NJIT. So far, we've been going to The Bullet Hole in Bellville (all 2 of us :) ), but we were looking for a place that charged a little less then $10 per hour to shoot. |

Welcome RAMYA.
I never heard of that town in NJ. Is it near Bangya, Beatya or Slamya? |

As long as this Thread gets deleted by the time Corzine becomes governor...

ATTENTION ALL SHOOTERS!!!!!
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=9&t=195765&page=1 The shoot date has been changed due to a 100% chance of inclimate weather including thunder storms AND heavy downpours. We will hold it the next day on: SUNDAY THE 3RD OF APRIL instead of Saturday. 9:00am sign-in 10:00am shooting begins Sorry for the late response but I was hoping the weather would break some what. Sunday looks 100% better and I hope all can still make it. RW3 |

Stevens, eh?
I just started a rifle club at NJIT. I say Stevens and NJIT should have a match. of course, its only two of us at the moment. And we can't really shoot straight. and we only have one $179 22lr between us. Any neither of us have ever participated in a rifle match before. But its not wether you win or loose, right? |
|
Stevens had a very ranked Rifle team when I was there. We outshot West Point, I recall.....was coached bY Lt. Jimmy Weatherall form JCPD.
|
|
How long ago was that? My High School buddy who goes to Steven's said he doesn't think they have a rifle team any more. But he might just be on crack. NJIT used to have a rifle team, as well. We even had an indoor range on campus. But the range is gone (office space now), and the only two people I talked to who even remember the rifle club were the athletics director and one of the Sergeants at public safety. So its back to two guys, a cheep rifle, and no practice ;) But hey, better then nothing, right? |
|
|
MOst likely dont, actually they tore the range down a few years back, to make way for progress, they had Winchester 52Ds and Anshutz target in .22

I live in Sayreville. Exit 124 on the Parkway. I am currently looking for a place to shoot.I used to shoot at Ft Dix range 23 and range 15. I belonged to a reenactors club in the late 80's and the person running the club was a major in the reserves. We would do the maint. on the pop up targets at range 23 and we were allowed to shoot there. Sometimes a couple of guys would go to range 15 with one of the range officers and get to shoot out to 600 yards. Using a Garand, with iron sights, to shoot out to 600 yards isn't the easiest thing. I guess things have changed over the years, no more $165. Garands

Good Taylor Ham at that diner. |

Check me in at the waist line area of Passaic County. One step southwest, it's Morris, two steps north or east its Bergen.
Yep the Neveda has some decent chow. But nothing like the dining experience like the Short Stop used to offer...or Tittelations...or Heartbreakers...or ... |
|
I'm in Freehold of Monmouth County. Pretty much in the middle of the county.
|
|
Short Stop... Steak & Eggs in the Skillet. At least Rutt's Hutt is still there, and always will. |

Hey CK1...your IM and e-mail are diabled so I can't reply to your IM. FYI..I graduated from Hamilton West in 78, but I have a 15 year old that will graduate from Allentown HS in 2007 (my oldest just graduated from Peddie). Small world isn't it! RJ |

I just realized that and turned them on this morning. Sorry about that.
Class of '07 means he ought to have been a freshman when I was a senior. I probably would not have known him. My sister probably knows him, though, she's also class of '07. IM away. |
