Also, if everything goes to plan (Piss off Murphy!) I'll have something for our resident wheelgun operator (Metalman) to try out. I think he's gonna like it....alot..... Damn looks like too much fun! i'm gonna have to come down one of these times when i can actually make some money to spend on ammo... Hey Ted, Maybe we could car pool down seeing how we are so close together or maybe meet up in ottawa if you live OP now. edt: How many of you guys live around the lawrence, topeka, ottawa area? With the price of gas and such if we could get some sort of organized car pooling together we could save a bit of cash in the long run. |

well body armor and the b.o.b. can be moved forward, along with the cooler. i can get me and 2 other mich team members out to the shoots in my truck. If i really take alot of shit i can take the cargo area cover off and stack it to the windows. I'm definitly planning on being at the next one. assuming i dont loose my mind. turns out i dont have a gf anymore,( or so it seems) and im not to happy about it. i got the m4 up and running the next day, worked out the bugs and bumped 4 mags through it, ran right through, 30 rounds bursts. on that note if anyone knows of any nice non physco emotionally stable single local girls, feel free to point me their way. ya, i know i'll never find that. |

naw, we were tryin, but had no luck up untill she left. all i can say is that this relationship was very different from any i'd had up till now, and that i finally understand what people mean when theyare talking about love. that may be corny, specially coming from a guy whos been married twice, but hey, what are ya gonna do. i always bring the smurf. i actually have 2, we ordered tham as recievers with our names as the serial numbers. i might not have her anymore, btu i have a rifle with her name on it. hmmmmmmm that just sounds bad. |

A big friggin' ditto to that!!!!!!!! I've been divorced now for 5 years  And I'm still happy being single. When the right girl comes around I'll know. I think I've had over a half dozen since the big D and I'm still emotionally stable But, still sorry to hear about your girl bro. Keep your chin up and move on. But what ever you do don't beg her to come back! Women love that shit, its a control type thing. From my personal experience if you act like you don't give a fuck, they'll be right back knockin' at your door. Trust me.

| Metalman, Is it alright to bring a M16, Mac10 and 2 flamethrowing beltfed brownings out there? If so i might be able to get Justin to come out with me and we can put some lead down range. I wouldnt be able to make this shoot due to the fact i have to fill out the 5320 forms for the MG's to cross state lines but could make one on a slightly later date. |

Beltfed, Unfortunately no. Right now we are in our beginning stages, and I want to make sure that we are cool with the owner of the land, and the local LE. I have to check in on the FA in Osawatomie. I'm sure it wont be hard to do, but I'de rather be all on the up-and-up with them first, before we do anything that might shut the whole thing down. We'd still like to have you out, do you even own any semi's? Oh BTW Spectre556 is a cute little boy who looks like a white Mr.T minus all the bling  He could use a good home, and a spankin

No prob, i have plenty goin on here in MO to keep me knee high in empty brass. Got the biggest MG shoot in MO next month to go to, plus its about time i had another as well. Let me know when we can make it down cause NO, i dont own any semi's, other then shotty (pump)and sniper rifles (bolt). Spectre, as old as you are youd be better off adopting me, im only 33. Catch yall on the flip side. |

Who needs FA when with practice ya can bump just as fast with a $300 rifle. METALMAN can attest, a 40 round mag lasts all of 4.5 seconds. The day before I get a drum for the bumping, and he tells me no bumping when we come visit on the 13th. Guess it will have to wait for a while to bump in KS.

RSTEIN, you piss me off with your $300 rifles and bumpfirin. The rest of us idiots spent alot of $$$ on NFA before the bumpfire fad came into play. It dont matter what gun it is he can bump it, I seen the way you was lookin at that .50 with that "I can bump fire that" look,,,,,,and it was a single shot! Theres always the range here in Belle Rob. |

Small update Guys, Metalman and I are workin' on getting a small course of fire going for the next shoot. We've accumulated a pretty good stash of lumber and barracades. Were still mapping everything out right now but should be ready for the 13th Minimum for the course will be a rifle and pistol. With some transisions from rifle to pistol at the end of the run.If any of our members have any suggestions or stuff to donate for the course, post here or IM me or Metalman. |

Well fellow KDSC members, heres an update on this weekends activities. I'de like to apologize ahead for getting your hopes up on the COF. I and Coopmandu have been REALLY busy with work and family and building the course of fire has pretty much taken a back seat to the really important things. However, we will still be having rifle and pistol competitions with the reactive steel. I would like to encourage as many of you to bring 'eggs'. Yes. eggs. I'de like to have an egg shoot off at some time during the shoot so if you all would indulge me.... Format will still be the same, bring a rifle and a pistol if possible. All safety codes will be followed so check the website www.fusionwaste.com for the range rules. Also, be sure to bring yourself some water,and a snack if you are so inclined. Oh, and lots and lots of ammo. Remember, if you dont have ammo, or are in need of a new firearm, be sure to check out the Firearms Gunshop in front of the range. We'd like for our patron to benefit from our being there, as well as us being able to shoot on his land . Thanks again folks, and when I can get some more time to build the COF, I will make sure it will be ready for the next shoot. In fact, those of you nearby can help with the build. I will post when we are going to get together, and we can have some beers while we design the COF. |
| I really dont want to be a pusher for the Firearms gunshop, but I do feel inclined to make note of it when our shoots come up. He is providing us with a very convienient way to shoot the way we want, and I am greatful for that. When I show up for a shoot, I usually buy a few hundred rounds of 223. Thats just me. If you want to buy just one box, I think the gesture is recognized. I think you need to be the judge of what to, or not to, spend. Regardless, just being in the shop and looking around is also an affirmation. Do what you can brother, thats all we ask, and all we try to do as well. |
Hours are usually 10-530 Like Metalman said, no one is obligated to purchase anything. Just go up and browse the store if you'd like. Lookin' forward to seein' everyone this weekend and maybe some new faces too. |
