charliez = Charlie + Z

Most of the time it's an unused screen name ... I got lazy trying Charlie 1 2 3 4 ... so tried Z everytime ... and it's stuck with me for a while.

Some people confuse it with Charlize sometimes, like Charlize Theron, but nope, I'm not that gorgeous nor a female

snwbrdrcr = snowboard racer

The first 12 years of my life post high school life involved the snowboard industry.
Owned a board shop for 11years. designed boards for a few companies, did prototype testing, raced Boarder cross (think motocross) from 1996 to 2004 placing in the top 10 if not the top 3 in most professional events that I entered. Jumped out of a helicopter a few times in the North Cascades for money. Got out of the biz when everything started to be made in China (2003 ish).

After 22 years of riding I still love it.

I was in the Marine Corps and had the great honor of being stationed in 29 Palms, also known as the Stumps, for 3 years. Most guys dreaded being there in the middle of the Mojave Desert for a month.  After submitting a few names already in use I settled on Stumps.

Shit fire and save the matches

You're one lucky SOB, assuming you're still typing with two hands and still sitting on both of your own asscheeks.

OdT- My initials, preceded by another initial. It's a lame story, but honest. Hell, I was there when it happened

Capital and lower case letters are the limits of my own creativity. Nothing to see here. Move on.

Someone asked for more info in a recent thread on drunk/dangerous driver a couple weeks ago here in the WaHTF.

My ex-wife had a friend who had a boyfriend that tried to physically force her to have a threesome with him and his girlfriend. I found out 2 days later from her because she was scared to tell me.
So, I did what any normal loving husband would do and waited for him to go to bed (approx. 12am) and then I crept in his house and XXXXX and XXXX XXX and XXXXX.

When I came outside of the house I had obvious trauma written all over my shirt and a neighbor of his happened to pull in their drive-way and see me, so I had to answer for my actions. When I was in jail with the rest of the felons they heard about my case and one of them called me the 'Midnightcreeper'. The guy didn't show up to court to testify against me, so all felonies were dropped to misdemeanors. Of course, there's alot more to this.......but yeah.

We never watch the Simpsons. One night we were really bored and nothing else was on (limited cable) and Mr. burns was asking Homer how to make his employees happy so they'd work better and Homer said to give them more tartar sauce 'cuz they always run out during lunch hour. Mr. Burns emphasizes the TAR TAR part, both syllables and it made me laugh until the episode was over. Sos is how I spell it at work when I'm in a hurry.
I realized after the fact that my favorite picture of me and my youngest brother is him with ketchup all over his face and me with tartar sauce all over mine making kissy faces at the camera.

I used to be into music production/recording, and hung out in a LOT of online recording forums.  I chose echomancer because echo was like sound and mancer was like someone who could magically manipulate things (like a necromancer is a sorcerer of the dead, a neuromancer is a sorcerer of the mind, etc), so it was mean to be a sorcerer of sound.

Now I don't do music stuff anymore, but it still sounded cool, plus governor was taken, which was my nickname in high school.

Obvious man is a character in the Sunday funny Non-sequiter by Wiley Post. Famous for pointing out the obvious. It's also an email adress I've
had for years. When I got back into guns after a long hiatus, I linked the name to the email so I wouldn't forget the password. I use it on all of the gun sites I lurk on.

I wanted Sir James but the system would not let me so I added the 556. But I  always leave it off when I sign something ie Sir James...  I got the name at my last job.  One of my coworkers was reading a book about these helicopter pilots in Vietnam the "Kingsmen" well one of the Pilots had the same name as me.  They called him "Sir James" so it just kinda stuck.

Sir James...

It's my drink of choice.  It's also the first thing to ever give me a hang over while on a fishing trip with my dad. When I signed up for ARFCOM.com I had a 2 bottle per weekend habit (one for Friday and one for Saturday), so that's what I went with because there is a good chance said bottle and drink was infront of me.

Although, in my old age, I've learned to not discriminate against any whiskey, whisky, Irish whiskey, bourbon, and some scotch.  And I've gotten to lazy to add the seven.
