Ok me again. Let me get this right. CB at 8:00 and the range about 9:30ish. Definatly want to try some ones FAL if I could. So put me down as a probable. But I will not be able to stay all that long. Need to sleep sometime before work. uggg.

Dang, sounds like a good crowd for Sat morning.
I can't decide between my FR-8 or a 54 Cal front stuffer as my AR backup noise maker. Both of these are real noisy and obnoxious. Any requests? |

Yeah I wouldn't mind shooting someones FAL. Ive never shot one before and Im currently haveing one built by Tony at M&M in Atlanta. But he is alittle behind in turn arounds. Looks like 1st of the year.I might be moveing to North Carolina :( ... Company is leaving town. Might get a transfer with them....WarDawg

You're welcome to shoot mine, WarDawg. Mine is a DSA StG-58 rifle. I recently bought an ARMS rail from Bradd_D and threw a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x40 on it. The scope is mounted in ARMS rings (thanks zzxx99!). I've only shot the rifle a few times (maybe 60?) with the scope mounted. So, it's been roughly zeroed, but I haven't made any fine adjustments. I also haven't shot it with match grade ammo. Having said all that, I'm very pleased with the performance so far.

So I guess that this thread entitled "Group shoot at CE on 11/08" that has been in existence since 10/30, which was a spur from another thread started on 10/26 wasn't enough of a notice? Sounds to me like Sweepy needs to check the Georgia Hometown forums more often.

On a totally serious note, if you want some help watching and helping any new shooters, I'm totally cool with that. If you've got several first-time or new shooters at your bench, it can be a handful. We need to make sure we show the newbies a good and safe time. Know what I mean? I'm most concern with safety, but it's important for them to have a good time too. Some of the newer folks might appreciate a .22lr pistol or rifle. I'll bring one of each in case we need them. Also, with all those extra folks, are you gonna need some extra eye protection and/or ear plugs? I always bring some extras. |

 Hey, since we are making requests, would someone please bring out a Front Sight Tool please? I had one but... who knows. Also, if someone was considering bringing out a .50 cal I'd love to shoot it. I'll give up a few bucks for ammo of course since I know it isnt cheap to shoot, I've never shot one and later on I don't want to be on my deathbad wishing. Tough Friday at the 'link |
