Any time Sat is fine. I will not have the pork ready until evening. Early birds might want to bring something to eat for lunch. TRG |

I'm bringing my reloading stuff so I can get some he'p. See here for more info.
I will probly leave here when I get up (Late AM I hope ) Head to Terrel and buy beer, then head back to Canton. Unless I can make it to the beer store before.
I don't load for .458 socom, but I might be able to bring some of my stuff if it can be of help. IM me to discuss. |
Well, I'm not going to make it out.
I don't want the rest of you to cancel the party though. Y'all go on and try and have a good time. |
Same here. My folks come for a visit this weekend. Sorry TRG. |
You pay CORBON's prices? |
Looks like I am almost definite to make it out there. Seems I will be bringing the wife, though not the son (unless, of course, his presence is requested).
Did I say that? I don't own a .458, but I have lots of general reloading stuff that could be helpful for his situation (i.e. a chamfering/deburring tool and a casemouth flaring die for .45 ACP which might work on the .458 brass.) I'll try to bring them along. |

I'm headed out. Gonna stop by 7 Eleven for ice and gas. ETA 1:30- 2PM
OH TRG, I burned the pig video you liked so much on DVD. |

Well guys, It looks like I won't be able to swing by.
Ya'll have fun, be safe, take pics to post of TRG humping whomever, and let us know who TXLewis blows up......... See ya'll at Tiger Valley in April. |
Just got back from Dallas so going back is not an option. Damn I wish I could have made it.
great party! I'd like to say thanks again to TRG for being generous enough to host the party. (left half a case of shiner in the living room for ya, dude) and also thanks to small change for the use of his excellent toy.
Also, I hear that John Candy is funny, but I can neither confirm nor deny these rumors. |
Well I just woke up. Thank TRG. Was a blast. My stomach hurts to the "beaching incident" at the river. Oh goodness that killed me.
What's nauga??? |
Sorry I couldn't make it.
The people coming down from OKC to buy my old tank didn't get here til 6:30. It was after 7 before they left. I was hoping they would get here around 3pm. Didn't want to drive an hour and a half out there only to have to leave and hour or two later. I'll see you guys at the Hun farm. |
Me and the Vickster planned to make it, but I ended up actually being at my shop most of the day yesterday.
The customers were lined up. My biggest Saturday ever, so I had to move the merchandise.....damn near out of lowers! Sorry TRG! Wish I could have made it. The Vickster tells me I should plan to go to the Hun Farm! So, y'all can give me shit there for not making it.....gonna be weird to go Hunning sober.....I quit drinking.....wonder if it will help my shooting? |
Just got home. Thanks TRG for the hospitality. Just make sure that LT makes his wings hot next time.
Thanks FALARAK and SmallChange for the help on the reloading setup. I noticed something FALARAK did on the seating die adjustment and I tried it with the HandLoader and guess what...It worked! Happy, happy, joy, joy. |
OK. I sure can make it hotter next time. Seriously, I can |

The party was a blast. Hot wings were a little weak, hopefully they'll be a little warmer next time.
I tried to tell him they were not hot enough. People could still talk after eating them. TRG PS. Of course, most of the words coming out sounded like "MF'ERTHOSEF'NGWINGSAREHOT!" |

Same here, really enjoyed all the faces. I've never seen people be so generous with thier food and drink. Even donating alcohol for the 'house'. I have a fridge full of pork, chili mac, wings, eggs, sausage, tortillas. And a pantry that is stuffed with chips, dips, salsa. I have never had a party where I had this much leftover from the revelers! you guys rocked! I won't need to go grocery shopping for a month. I sent some chili mac and wings, chips, chex mix home with Etexer Good food, good people, good times. Looking forward to doing it again sometime. And to al of you that came early to help set up, and those that helped clean up the next day, it was appreciated. It made the party much more enjoyable for everyone. Truly, the best get-together at my place in a looooong time. TRG |
I enjoyed putting new faces names, and seeing a few familiar faces again. And we can't say enough to thank our gracious host.
We'll have to do another East TX gathering later this spring. Maybe a range day at ETRPC followed by dinner somewhere (possibly even my place if etexer promises not to stuff my dogs). Sader762 and Fister both planned to make it but had last minute things that prevented them from coming. Fister even offered to drop off extra food for me to bring, but I'd already left when he called. If he'd caught me, TRG would've had even more leftovers. |
"possibly even my place if etexer promises not to stuff my dogs"
Aw common man!!!! I neeeeed the practice! |
And you'll get plenty of that if you keep hanging out with TRG! |
If anyone wants the recipe, email me and I'll have my wife send it. |
John Candy may be funny, but etexer knows how to make PETA cry.
Looks right tasty, christopher robin! |
You know you could just post it and get it over with, right? We know you made it, and had her take credit for it. TRG |
