View Quote One of my grandmothers favorite stories was of telling my uncle to go out and cut a switch. He came back with a little wispy branch thinking that small branch equals small pain. Grandma, knowing better, almost died laughing. My uncle was spared that day. |

I've been taking lessons from Chas8008. ever been to a party when you are 21 and watch two girl friends fight b/c one girl thought the other girl was making out with a hotter girl. Then go to the bath room, and there is a gator in the bath tub hissing at you? Oh its not tied up at all, then you start thinking how fast can a 4ft gator jump... Then the police start banging on the front door b/c the girl are still fighting, I am trapped in the bath with a felony.... And thats all I remember. |

RIP Tank.
Several things happening this year. 1. got a new pup. Zipper. Attached File He and my son would get along better if they both had hands. The scratch on his elbow was from playing. ( my son has special needs) 2. I put in a shed for a pantry. The thread for that is in Outdoors/survival discussions. 3. I finally got a flight physical. Somehow I passed and can now start training. |

I haven't been and probably won't be posting much for a while.
My grandad is in the end stages of congestive heart failure and when I took him to the ER last week he was in renal failure. All his doctors ran umpteen tests and met with each other lots of times and the end result was there was nothing else they could do for him and hospice was suggested. He's 86 and there is no quality of life, he and my grandmother met with hospice a few times and decided that he has suffered long enough. He was released from the hospital yesterday and went to the house in Austin to rest but wants to die here at the ranch. He will make the trip as soon as all the necessary equipment delivered. Luv you fellers and I'll holler at y'all later. |

Prayers for your grandad. If you need anything reach out. We'll be here for you.
