No, I did not get it yet.  Yes, I do still want/need it!  Don't you have it?  Or is it still at the embroidery shop?  Bring it to the shoot if you can.  If for some reason I am not there at least for a little while, give it to bigscrun and I will pick it up from him.  Thanks.

We need to move the pistol range, to the right of the rifle range, so everyone is shooting in the same direction.
     "00"

I agree.  That also frees the back end for parking.

Yes, that would also allow for a little longer rifle range.

Is anybody building any target stands?  I was going to build four or five cheap wood stands like they have for pistol competitions at gun clubs but the whole thing with my mom has kinda got my schedule in turmoil.

If it makes a difference...

I'm planning to bring a large target stand that I made out of PVC for 200 yard SR targets.  I made several backers for it as well.

FishKepr, what size PVC pipe did you use? I was planning on building a few target stands out of PVC but wasn't sure how they hold up.

1" inside diameter.  It seemed to hold up pretty well, but I haven't used it in quite a long time and never in windy conditions.

Well, count me in. I'll be there Saturday. Not camping.

I know the way so I'll go direct and skip the Park-and-Ride.

I'll have my wood frame for hanging pistol targets, but not so much water/ice this time.

Also, is this pit going to be a big fire hazard?
Should I bring up a redcan?

The pit itself is not a fire hazard at al.  In fact it is solid rocks, not a blade of grass to be found.  It is, however, nestled deep insid of the woods so as long as we keep everything inside the pit we will be OK.

Bah! I need a ride! Oh, and I don't think I want to camp, so if I find a ride down, anyone else coming back Saturday evening, past I-405 exit 6 that might be able to drop me off?

It's 90 miles, I have a full tank of gas, no sun glasses, and it's bright and sunny out.

WOW!!

That was fun. Thanks to everyone who showed up. The heat was a bit much, but a whole lot better than pouring down rain. I would like to shout out a couple of specific thank-you's.

Daniel Tanner: Thanks so much for showing up and letting us see some of the truly amazing things that your company does. Believe me the members of AR15.com know where to spend their money.  www.Tannerite.com

1GUNRUNNER: You led us all up the dusty trail, Thanks I know you had to be draggin ass after working all night. It was very cool of you to caravan us all up to the shoot.

ODT and BUDMAN: Beer, Firewood and good company what else needs to be said.Thanks. The LCR's were in the house.

ARFCOM Team Washington everyone that showed up deserves a thank-you, I think the next major shoot we put on will be even better. Thanks for coming out, and I hope to chat with all of you very soon.---Bigscrun

Thanks bigscrun.

Schedule the next one on a cooler day, and we wont be so eager to make another beer run.

And be forewarned, spend too much time down this way, and you may be labeled a LCR yourself!(honorary title of course)
