Alright, this should be a pretty good time I hope. The weather forcast for the area is looking good, lets hope it holds, 56 degrees would be great. Been getting my stuff together tonight, will be bringing a couple of AR's, couple of AK's, AR10, M44, Warrior and a few other pistols. Looking forward to breaking in my SBR'ed AR for the first time, hope she runs, lol  .
Nice, I've been looking at that exact package, trying to decide between that or a 5.56 supressor next, it's just those darn .22's are so inexpensive and sooooo quiet! |

I can create and print/copy large amounts of paper targets. I made (40) 8 1/2 X 11 paper targets with one large and 4 small targets per page yesterday. With my minimal knowledge of the "gun world" that is the best I could do. I saw some target holders at BassPro shop. Do my paper targets have any value of usage in this event? I can pretty much do any design any size. Does someone have any paper target holders. If so what size paper? I could probably get about 200 designed and printed tomorrow (friday). |
Bring your targets, MaleMammal, any target has the value of having a hole(s) put through it  We don't have set target stands on the range for us to use, but there may be some improvised target stands used here and there. To be honest, plastic bottles and milk jugs are easy, reactive, and fun little targets. ( No Glass though of course ) |

Guys, I really appologize to everyone, but I just called to go over a few things with Knob Creek. I was told some wires have gotten crossed somewhere, as they have us scheduled for the wrong date, and that someone else will be using the lower range tomorrow. No big deal, as they are now going to be roping an area on the left hand side of the MAIN RANGE for us now. This should be good news to some of you that wanted the longer ranges of the MAIN RANGE and the availability of tracers and .50!!!  So, just for clarification, after check-in at the range shop and pay the $9 range fee, you will not go down to the lower range, just walk right on over to the main range to our area on the left hand side. The only real downside here, is that the target area will be muddier than it would have been down on the low range, but just prepare appropiately and no big deal. Sorry for the late change, out of my control, but everything should still be good to go otherwise.

| I'm really looking forward to meeting the KY ARFCOMers tomorrow. I'm not bringing a weapon since I don't own one. I haven't been on a range since 2000 so I'll enjoy just watching the lead fly. I've got the BRD and I'll definitely have some ???'s for you guys. I'll probably be ready to make the first purchase for my M4gerey pretty soon. |
| Thanks for the IM Stump--Well, at least they will rope a section off for us. With the weather the way it is we may still have it all to ourselves anyway. I will be looking for an expert scope sighting in person as I suck at such things. I would like the .50 zeroed at 300 yards so if anyone doesn't mind pulling the trigger a few times for me it would be much appreciated. |

I'd feel bad shooting someone else's ammo so how about if I bring a couple of boxes of Remington brand 55 grain .223 from Wal Mart? I was in the Army and I know my way around M16's quite well but I've never personally owned a firearm. Strange, huh? I'll be correcting that soon enough though. Looking forward to tomorrow. |
