I recently bought a Zev Fulcrum trigger for my 19LS project. It's the FDE one from Brownells (cause FDE makes you shoot better).

All of the slide internals are Zev, minus the Brownells barrel. I have the heavier (3#) striker spring in there as well. I installed the trigger bar onto a new ejector assembly(?) with the Zev connector and a factory trigger spring.

Now the problem: the trigger hits an ugly, large brick wall before the break. I've adjusted it to where I want it, and practice dry firing. It's smooth, until I dry fire it a lot and it all of a sudden starts to feel different. The pull becomes rougher, and then the break is not as clean as before.

Sounds crazy, I know. If I take it out and mess with the screws a bit more, it'll be fine again for awhile. I did loctite them after adjusting.

At this point, I have the OEM trigger assembly in there and it's 100000 times smoother.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Just count the rounds before it breaks.  My buddy had one in his gen3.  Not too light, just no take up pre travel at all.  He liked it.  He was using it in a class, and during a drill something broke. He had a dead trigger.  You had to forcibly pull the trigger forward to reset it.  It was a pain even getting the slide off.  He said earlier he noticed something felt off, and it would be crunchy sometimes, other times fine.  Until it broke.  Something in the trigger feels off, so I ont know if it the spring under the trigger safety or what. His was bought used, so no warranty option.  I'd call Zev.  It's going to break at some point.  Google will show you other people's similar experiences.
