Not really new. Walther's CCP M2 has been around for some time now. I quite like mine. And yes, it is the M2.

Umm.  This thread is about the CCP M2 PLUS.  You don’t have the plus.  Pleb .

Only thing I got out of the ad was the gun can use common a Glock irons.

Yeah. So pretty much this new "+" model is Walther listening to their market bitch and whine about the M2's (adjustable) rear sight. They said okey dokey...and cut the rear sight dovetail to fit G17/19 type sights and decided to call it the +, which is kinda silly IMO. Until I see this new so-called "precision machined" slide in person...

...meh. I prefer the adjustable rear sight on the M2.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

The CCP has the same action as a HKP7 without the squeeze cocker.

The blowback design with the piston allows for the initial low force slide pull.

The + is to separate the new model from the original CCP and M2.

Capacity us 8+1 and is comparable size to the Glock 43.  Tad thicker all the way around.

Has some of the heat issues the P7 had of you shoot more then a few mags continuously.   But since most people will use this as a carry gun and will have three mags at most it’s not a problem.

That’s basically it,  the slide is cut for Glock irons.

Also has the same easy disassembly button in the back as the last M2.

The slide is definitely made differently looking at the images on gunbroker. I think Umarex was making the previous slides, maybe these ones are made by actual Walther plant or the process making the slides now is different?

Anyways, Walther needs to update their PPS with PDP features, but focus on that one with a narrow slide and competitive capacity to P365 as others have mentioned
