So, a friend sold me two Colts (and a Baby Browning) for really cheap prices. Been wanting a 1903 for years. It's a little rough on finish, but seems mechanically sound. Serial number shows 1917 manufacturing. The other is an very good condition Colt Challenger. It was made in 1952.

Also got a Remington Model 11 12g made in 1910, needs work.

I see one now on Gunbroker, but I’m picky and it’s a little to worn out for me. 1915 is the year my grandmother was born so that’s why I want that year!!

I know color case harden wasn't a factory finish, but it sure would look neat. I would be surprised if Turnbull would do the work for less than $1000 though...
