You guys got me as well I carried a Gen 1 in the 80"s ,talked to Nick at Valor last night and he is good to go and only an hour away,I am going to build a hybrid Gen gun similar to a C Model Colt I have that was done at the RTE shop 30 years ago . My question to you guys with Springfields on the new guns how many mim parts need changing out. I bought a mil spec for the base gun Yeah I know the roll marks are wrong but I got the gun for less than I could buy and old Springfield slide Hell the gun I was issued was an Ithaca with a hard slide I am that frigging old |

Now find Valor Precision LLC, Montville, Ohio. Looks like he could do an M40 build from a Remington 700 action also. Very nice! An M45 or steel CZ75 are about as modern as I would want in a handgun. Don't like these new plastic framed shenanigans. |
