357. I have a couple other pistols in 357 and not wanting to get into another caliber.
I dont even want these. But I do. I'll never use them and have no use for them. But, the crowd has spoken so I guess I gotta. |

Single action Rugers are my favorite guns. I like shooting them even more than my Wilsons.
I have a couple at Long Hunter right now getting a little tune-up. |

OP needs to figure out the immense difference between "want", and "need". Then the decision becomes simple. Want is a perfectly valid reason for acquisition. The only things we truly need, and the same ones all animals need: food, shelter, water. Things like possessions, love, luxury items are all wants.

Well, I guess I NEEDED them. Picked them up today. I have to find some better grips that fill the hand a little better.
They look great Feel well balanced Great fit and finish Good trigger Those are the pros Cheap ass case Not a fan of the grips like mentioned before. I'll try to clean and oil em and get to the range this weekend depending on work, so slim chance basically.

None of the factory Ruger single action grips I see match the frame well. I sent my bisley grip frame off to Chig's Grips in MO and I was happy enough to buy another set of blanks to replace the really poorly fitting micarta grips on my New Vaquero. I need to get this frame sent off asap.

Love the black and stainless look. Debating between that or aged "ivory" but just can't decide. Also thought of doing one black one ivory grip on each or a black one and an ivory one. Just too many choices and I don't know what I want right now.

I have a pair of stainless Ruger Vaqueros but with a rosewood grips and not consecutive and are in 38-40 WCF.

I love how the first four letters of the serial is SASS.
Now the question is...did the FFL charge you for one transfer, or two? When my friend picked his up, lady at the FFL said "I only see one case" when he asked why she rang him up for one transfer. Cool place to do business. |
