What’s an alternative? Don’t have the coin for a Smith, and want DA/SA.

I have a 942 with 2" barrel that I bought about a year ago. I haven't had any problems with it. It has the typical heavy DA trigger pull but the SA trigger pull is decent. And Taurus revolvers definitely have a better reputation than their semi auto pistols have.

Gracias. I had a .44 Tracker that I loved, and still regret selling it. The PT92? Yeah, a broken firing pin soured me on that one. Although, I've been hearing good things about their small 9mm's and newer models. But, I like Glock so that niche is filled.,
