Picked up this S&W 1905 3rd change today for $300. Round butt (someone along the way put square conversion grips on), 4” barrel. Serial number 236xxx puts it in the 1909-1915 range. Not in terrible shape for a ~108 year old gun. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and taking it to the range. Also on the hunt for a set of round butt grips for it. Attached File |

I know nothing about revolvers although that may be about to change because of this S&W 38 Special. I'm about to do some digging to determine the date of manufacture and anything else that I can find.
