I just saw this in an ad today, never heard of it before.
Sounds like a beast, 11 rounds of .45 in a package the size of a G26.

Kinda looks like an old Para Warthog. From what I remember they had issues. Maybe RIA has fixed the problems.

No joke the worst pistol I’ve ever shot. If you have big hands it’s too short to keep hold of. If you have small hands it’s too fat to keep hold of. If you have medium hands it’s both.

Then manipulating it since it choked every 3 rounds was icing on the cake.

Rock Island puts out good, decent shit. I would think they'd have all the bugs out by the time of release.

I also agree with the above post about the hand size thing. A Commander grip/frame with the shorter slide would've sold much, much better, IMO.

I'd like it more if it was a CCO instead of an officer sized gun

That would be more like the old Para Ordnance P12.45 which I've had for some time. Never had an issue with it and 12+1 rounds is pretty substantial for the CCO footprint (not girth!).

I was interested in it until I started doing research into it.  The grip is so short that it's really difficult to grip.  I like the concept but the grip is too short.

Warthog mags will fit in it with slight modification to the mag release slot. And you can get an extended mag for it as well, I think it is 13 + 1 with extended mag.

I use P13 mags with sleeve in my Warthog, only problem I've had with it is if you limp wrist it jams, use both hands and lock the elbow and it goes bang every time.
