What's the general consensus? 1 or 3.25 for a defensive arm? Thanks.

we were debating between 3 and 6 for our duty pistols and settled on the 3.25

I’d love it if they’d release a triangular reticle (I know, it’s a red DOT sight and you can’t have cool shapes without holo, prism, or etched glass). Use the largish size of the triangle for quick target acquisition and the top point of the triangle for precision.

I like the 1, but I have an astigmatism.

3.25 is the general purpose do-all reticle for the RMR, as it’s fast in CQB and quick engagements, but also able to be accurate with if you’re shooting a target at 50-100yds.  It’s a good midway point between the 1moa or 6.5 moa.  I ran a 3.25moa Type 2 RM06 for several years on a duty gun and loved it.  It worked perfectly fine when it was needed.
