Never thought I would like a Kimber, but I found this older, pre owned CDP Pro for $600.00. I am real happy with it.
Here is the gun and the target..first 25 rounds fired using Atlanta Arms ball re-manufactured ammo.    |

Early Clackamas Classic, SN in the low 4000's. My brother and I both bought one during the week of Christmas 1996 (or was it '97 - getting old sucks). Had it milled for Bo-Mar rear, swapped the MSH for a S&A arched magwell, and shot the heck out of it in USPSA for a while. Grips on it for this pic were made by my brother, but the gun currently wears Hogue wraparound rubber grips with finger grooves. Still shoots much better than I do. This is the gun that got me back into guns. Can't thank it enough. |

Here is my CCLE. Seems to be a rare one. Supposedly only 100 made. I refinished it as the original finish was GONE!!!

What's up Kimber brothers! I never thought I'd own a kimber, my dad bought this for me this past christmas! Sorry for the bad pic, my cell phone is my camera for now. I've shot about 500-600 rounds through it so far with no hiccups.

My first 1911, a Kimber Tactical Entry II with VZ Grips (Black Canvas Aliens) and some Wilson ETM mags.
Hoping to get it to the range this weekend for the first time too, I expect it to be a good trip.
Hoping to add a Surefire X300 and some more Wilson mags.

It's an Ultra Aegis II horrible pictures on both accounts. I had the frame ceracoated. I've had it back a while now, the frame is fit as a fiddle. The kimpro finish is starting to show some wear on the slide.

So is it worth trying to convince them to update my slide? I want to swap sights at some point, and it'd be better to do that first. The whole gun... 
Haven't done too much with it, extra-strength extractor spring and a little heavier recoil spring from Wolff, arched steel mainspring housing, VZ Grips Operator II's for extra pretty.
