I know some P320s have no safety lever spring but when I was taking mine apart to install a new trigger the large pin popped out a little. I didnt notice a spring anywhere in the vicinity but you know how springs evaporate.

Mine has the upgraded/recalled trigger if that makes a difference. Is there a way to determine visually if it should be there. Like maybe the sear is different on models that need it?

ETA: if the pin did not come all the way out then no spring came off

Yeah its got to be missing since the safety lever is just flopping around on the inside. Ordered one since my reset spring just went into orbit.

Mine doesn't have the spring. Pretty sure I read that they dropped the spring some time back.

If you have the old parts, and lose the spring, does it matter?
