Well that didn’t go well.
After all these years momma finally said she wanted to take a class or two
Her stipulation was simple compact 9mm with a safety she does
Shoot my hk’s well enough but she’s more comfortable with a safety
A hk p30sks v3 was ordered but a p30sk v1 was received
While they were on the computer trying to figure out what went wrong
My mistakes were moving the hk over for a better look at guns in the case then asking for a closer look
At this one

I know nothing about cz’s
Are these finicky at all

Not finicky at all. VERY reliable. And the one you're looking at is an incredibly-accurate one.

From a former com block country used to random steel cased ammo quality.

But not at all compact or light.

Before posting a picture.

Yes the search for mommas pistol marches on I tried justifying it because it does have a safety

Hoping to take it out later in the week

Show her the P07 or P09 you can make it a decocker or safety. So if someday she feels the need to get rid of the safety she can change to a decocker or keep it a safety.

I’m trying to talk her into a range trip with me it’s always much easier to convince her if she likes it
Over 30 years of guns i downsized a few years ago but I wouldn’t mind having a more concealable one that she could use
I’ll have to check a couple other ranges to see if they have some cz rentals before I do another impulse buy

But I get it. You were probably going for a p-07 or something.

If she doesn't want unwanted attention or you're the jealous type, don't take it to the class. She's going to have guys all over her shooting that piece.

The moment that I had it in my hand I totally blocked out that I was there for the wife

She favors my p2000sk but shoots the vp9sk better but neither has a safety .

I’ll do some looking around at the cz compact models and see if one of them fits here like the HK’s

OP looked right past the Woodford Reserve and the Blanton's Gold Edition and went straight for a double pour of Macallan 25. Like a boss.

I prefer to be married to polymer striker-fired pistols, but I fantasize about a torrid affair with a CZ.

Lol I fit that description

Really seems like everything I’ve read about them has been positive
My biggest hang up is getting use to the slide, not a lot to grab.

I love my Shadow 2. You sure you ordered the wrong gun???

Edit: Took me a bit to get used to the slide also. The weight takes a bit of time also, but it shoots like a dream.
