Got the 686 for a good price, I just wish I knew that finding a rear sight was going to be as tough as has been. It's a Brazilian police export-import.

IM me if you have no luck. I think I have a spart off of my M69 that I replaced to adjustable with a C&S fixed rear.

I'm trying to figure out the front sight. Maybe it's me, the bottom ramp looks fine but the top post looks backwards. I don't know, maybe it's an export thing or I just can't see the image clear enough.

Brownells used to carry S&W brand sight parts. I would start there

Both of my 3" revolvers, a 686+ and a 629, wear D&L Sports fixed rear sights, and SDM gold bead fronts. I highly recommend both on these guns.
