Anyone hear or have anything done by Novak’s lately? They used to be the shop, a lot of the known smiths seem to have left or passed away, haven’t really heard much about the quality of their work.
Their turn around isn’t horrible, which is good and bad. ETA: More than sights. |

Had some sights put on a hi power last year. Pretty quick turnaround and nice work. |

I mailed my 1911 slide to them Saturday the 5th. It was dovetailed and front sight installed and back in my mailbox Saturday the 12th.

I recently received back a Mk. III FN (not marked "Browning") full house from them. Great fit/finish and function.
I have been doing business with them in Colts and Brownings, with an occasional S&W thrown in, since the early 1980s. Nothing but excellence. In fact, I think over the years they have gotten better. Highly recommended. They have forgotten more about Brownings than most shops know, and have been one of the secret consultants for Browning, Colt and Ruger for years. |

I had them build me two Spec Ops pistols a few years ago, they did a great job. Main shop guy was Titus, give him a call, very helpful.

I have a '72 BHP that has some fudd of a previous owner red ramped the tiny front fixed blade. Earlier this month, I had Novak's install low mount fixed sights with a brass bead on the front. Quick turnaround with professional results.
