So my nightstand handgun is a Gen5 G17 and it was my EDC as well. I decided that I wanted to change the problem I had. This problem was it was the one gun for all my things. War belt. Nightstand. And carry. Well to solve this problem... I bought 3 more Gen5 G17s today. One for parts if needed and the other two to dedicate to warbelt and carry. Now I need to know... What should I buy for the warbelt gun. And what should I buy for the carry gun? My G19 is also in my rotation but I can land shkt wuximer and better with the G17.

So...what, five (four G17 and one G19), constitutes an addiction? You gotta pump those numbers up!

Honestly, my ideal setup for my Gen5's has been the same for my 19's, 17, and 34.

Only 5? I've purchased that many Glocks at once before

my house gun is a G17.3 with a Trijicon RMR2 in a Recover Tactical 2020, TLR-1 light....my carry is a G43x with a Dawson (Trijicon tritium front) and plain black rear... all my Glocks have aftermarket fixed sights..., the RMR is a vast improvement in my night sighting, as my ability to distinguish between illuminated front and rear tritium sights has degraded as I age... same reason for the single illuminated dot on the 43x

Haha, just giving you crap. The five I bought at once were police trade-ins for $250 each.

LGS had a G17.5 in the case today. I almost bought it. I’m just not a great shot with the G45 or G17. I need more practice with them.
Bought a G48 yesterday. Had one a few months ago and sold it. The G48 is easily one of my favorite guns. |

I like the 17 better than a 19, but I really like the 48, and I LOVE 43s!

For an actual war belt, G40 in best mm is the only serious answer.

The last Glock I bought I walked up to the counter and said "my name is Malada and I'm a Glockaholic"

I'm a little upset at the lack of pictures this thread has produced...

Glocks are ok but do not have a lot of flash or panache compared to other stock guns . With that said, Glocks are what I have. They offer a lot over most guns out there for me- share mags/parts, mags are cheaper and easier to find, giving them a full cleaning is a breeze compared to other designs and lastly, just work right out of the box. If I, for some reason, were not able to go to the range and put some ammo through my Glock to make sure it functions properly, it is about the only design (for me), that I could trust putting it into service. Not that I recommend that but in my experiences, they work every time. I will say I love the Glock modded guns.

Yeah, that's not even in the neighborhood of addiction. I have more then that and I'm not even close to addicted to them Originally Posted By samuse: I like the 17 better than a 19, but I really like the 48, and I LOVE 43s! You had me until the end.. 17 over 19... Check. Like the 48. I'd say "love the 48" but close enough... Check. Love the 43... FAIL! I wouldn't say I flat out hate the 43 but I am replacing it with a P365 so its fair to say I'm not a big fan of the 43 ![]() |
