It seems like everyone is getting on the 10MM bandwagon.  Taurus just introduced their entry into the 10MM field.  At a $529.99 MSRP, it's got to be one of the least expensive entries.

Looks good and I like it’s not a striker.

Well, it’s also a Taurus.

So we’ll see  …. after 1500 fired rounds of real 10mm ammo.

Bumped for input or updates …

Saw this testing of the 10mm Tauri. The YT-er should’ve been shooting real 180grn ammo from Sig or Underwood, but …. it is what it is.

I haven't spotted one of these yet to purchase.
Lgs has the 45 version, well they had 2 I have been watching.
They sold one then a week later it came back second hand so I don't know why it came back.

I own: Sig xten, S&W M&P, 1911's Dan Wesson and Kimber, pf45, xdme Tanfoglio and p40L.
Surely I must have this Tarrass.

Just FYI, but here’s a recent negative review on the Taurus 10mm TH pistol by YouTuber Chuck @ Alaskan Ballistics. He’s a resident Alaskan and a hardcore 10mm user. He’s tested and reviewed a lot of 10mm factory ammo using various 10mm guns, including those he personally carries while out and about in Grizzly country.

How many users realistically shoot 1500 rounds of "real" 10mm ammo in a year?  In five years?

I'm sure you're a real manly man® who shoots 1000rds of 220gr +P++++ in "tactical classes" every weekend, but let's be honest about what really happens.

We should also be honest about what guns actually will hold up under 1500rds of full power ammo in a short period of time.

DavidY, ... that is a very good point. The 10mm is a very good caliber for what it was made for, however for a lot of people like myself who have gotten old and weaker now, and as such you do come to terms with the fact it's just not as much fun to shoot as it was years ago. So for me I simply went back to the "puny" .40 S&W and so far it works fine.

Well I've got one on order at my LGS but none of the distributors have any in stock and I'm not going to resort to Gun Broker unless Taurus stops making them.

I mean if I find one at a good price which I have, then you pay the sales tax plus shipping plus the transfer fee then just sure as I do my LGS will finally get one in at a lower price. So I think I can wait.

[Last Edit: meistermash] [#11]
LGS had one in stock so I now have this one in addition to:
Sig xten, exdme, S&W, P40L, pf45, Tanfoglio stock3, Dan Wesson 1911,kimber 1911, girsan 2011 style, g20.
And likely forgetting one.

Did I hear that Glock sites for these fit?
I know the front site is a Glock style.
Have a set of truglow tritium for the Glock 20 in my pile.

K.  The tru glo tritium sites did fit.
The front was higher that stock and I suppose the rear is as well as they are for a 20 or 21.
